THE MARINA

The Abaco Reserve is building a State-of-The-Art, Environmentally Intelligent Marina.

We start with a natural deep harbor that will require almost no dredging or disruption of the natural sea bed. The average depth of this harbor is 10 feet.

In this natural harbor we are installing environmentally friendly FLOATING dock system which require approximately one-fourth (1/4) of the number of pilings that a conventional marina would require, yet be several times stronger that fixed wooden docks in the face of a storm.

All of this will be protected by a breakwater which, in time, actually adds to the reef system and becomes part of the eco-system, further supporting the underwater marine life in the area.

The Marina at The Abaco Reserve will accommodate anything from a 25 foot center console fishing boat to a 125 foot motoryacht.

Just as with the rest of the project, the marina will also be PRIVATE for owners only, with no transient slips being rented to tourists or the general public.

Property ownership at The Abaco Reserve is not required to purchase a slip at the Marina, although property owners (only) may choose to lease dockage monthly if available.
